Your Data Protection Rights

Under POPIA and other applicable law, you have rights in relation to your personal information. This section explains those rights and how to exercise them.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law and exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • Request confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you.
  • Request access to personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, outdated, or unlawfully processed information.
  • Object to processing of your personal information on reasonable grounds.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting prior lawful processing.
  • Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

How to exercise your rights

To make a request, contact us using the details on our Privacy contact page. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within a reasonable period and as required by POPIA.

If you are an end user of a system we built for a client, we may need to refer your request to that client where they are the responsible party for your information.

Marketing communications

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a message or by contacting us directly. We may still send service-related communications that are necessary to administer our relationship with you.
